Although we have gone to great lengths to purchase the best possible stallion prospects for our breeding program, we want to dedicate this page to the girls! I believe that a successful breeding program is only as good as the broodmares. Please join us as we introduce the ladies of Mt Dragon. Those wonderful mares who in all their wonder produce and love their foals every spring. Who carry them for eleven months, give birth to them, follow them around, worry about them, and finally send them off into the world to find their own place and people to love them. Hermione is a gorgeous 5 year old, 12h imported mare. She is extremely well-bred and is very gentle. She has had one foal and would be great for a breeding program or for the show ring. Hermione has beautiful, flat need movement and a shapely Welsh head with slight dish. At age 5, she is just the right age to start her career.

2006 Section B Welsh Pony Filly
White Rose is spectacular filly with everything that we expected from this 'Royal' cross; beautiful head, long swan neck, short back, strong hindquarter and floaty movement. Her sire and her dam placed at the Royal Welsh and are UK Champions. Wonderful pedigree that is at the top in the UK today.
2006 Section B Welsh Pony Filly
Our first Maradonna foal is a stunning black filly out of the most lovely *Trewithian Lamorna. This same cross last season produced an amazing bay colt, Evans Havoc. Havoc sold to a show home and will make a serious performance gelding. Named in honor of her late sire, Evans Maradonna's Violette is the epitome of the best the UK has to offer in not only pedigree but type and movement. We plan to retain this filly.
2006 Section B Welsh Pony Filly
We welcome our second *Wedderlie Maradonna filly of the season, Evans Maradonna's Tiger Lily. We recently sold the exquisite imported mare, *Heniarth Liliput to our dear friends and Welsh Breeders, Melanie and Josh Pritchett of Thornehill Farm. We reserved the foal Lili was carrying if it was a filly, which is was - - an amazing palomino filly!! Mel assures me I will love her and I know she is right. For now, we will settle for photos, which we will share. Enjoy! This is truly a "golden baby".

This is Poetry's most outstanding foal to date. A wonderful producer, Poetry has produced lovely moving, correct, and very trainable foals in the past.
