Severn Camellia *Rowfant Peanut x Severn Pansi by Severn West Wind A Classic Mountain Pony mare. Her sire is one of our favorite imports, Rowfant Peanut, who is sired by the Twyford Gurkha son Twyford Nutkin and out of Rowfant Paradise (Twyford Gamecock x Twyford Puss). Camillia was shown extensively by her breeder, Tiz Benedict as a yearling. Her wins include: second in the Maryland Pony Breeders Welsh Yearling futurity, first under two judges (one from the UK) at the Penn-Marydel show, going on to be named Champion Junior filly under one judge and Reserve Champion under the other. She was third at the Maryland Pony Breeders show, and won a second, third, and fourth at Eastern Nationals and the Mid-Atlantic shows. Camillia was high-point Welsh Yearling in the Maryland Pony Breeders standings for 1992 and the 4th highest Junior Filly in WPCSA standings. Camillia has produced very well for us when bred to Section A and Section C Stallions. Her get include Champion Driving pony Evans Black Tie Affair and Halter winner, Evans Extreme Emotion. She is a valuable producing mare. |
