Promise Land Farms, LLC is located in Smithfield, NC where they specialize in Hunters and Jumpers and have a full service riding, boarding and training facility. Promise Land Farms, LLC offers Professional Hunter/Jumper riding instruction and cater to equine enthusiasts' needs in and out of the show ring. They have a full time show team that travels to "AA" rated, "A" rated, "C" rated and open/schooling shows. The main goal at PLF is to provide a safe atmosphere from beginners to top rank hunters and jumpers.We are happy that *Priestwood Domingo, Evans Constantine, Ten Pine Wild Lil Windsong, and Sabino Lace are being promoted and offered for sale at Promise Land Farms.
Ten Pine Wild Lil Windsong (Sanaltas High Caliber x Youngs Wild Lil Woman)
Windsong is an old type with bone and bred in blue with such names in her pedigree as Pendock Perseus and Pendock Prudence. She would make a great walk/trot or short stirrup pony for anyone looking to make her into one. Windsong is doing very well under saddle. She is tractable and willing to please. Windsong has started flying changes and jumping small courses!

This is another example of the amazing qulaity which we are enjoying when we cross our proven domestic lines with the popular imported lines. Constantine got it all, Welsh type - bone and substance - beauty and movement to burn. This is going to be a big pony, who looks like he will mature a medium to large medium. His sire, a Carwed Charmer son, sold to the Florida show circuit. The sky is the limit on this colt's potential. Constantine is going well under saddle. He is kind and quiet, just a incredible colt!

Lacey is going nicely under saddle, walk, trot, and canter. She has started learning the correct leads and is doing several exercises such as serpentines and figures of eight. She is very quiet for a confident rider, and is learning quickly.

We are pleased to introduce a new chapter to a story that stands the test of time. The cornerstone of our breeding plan is traveling back east to live out his days in the care of Zach and Kate Shields. Their Sangamon Park program has been established to follow a line-breeding practice tracing to Criban Victor. We are certain there exists no other stallion more suited to serve this purpose than our beloved Victorio. Our fond memories and best wishes go with him. We will always cherish the legacy he left behind at Mt. Dragon.
Victorio will be covering a select few mares here at Mt Dragon this spring before he leaves for his new home. If you have always wanted to breed to this lovely boy or want to custom order a foal, picking from our outstanding group of mares - NOW IS THE TIME!!

Evans Jura looks every inch the incredibly well bred colt he is. Jura's dam is a Royal Welsh Winner who had a wonderful show record in the UK. His sire, *Priestwood Domingo, was one of the last sons of the Legendary Carolina's Purple Emperor. A liver chestnut with plenty of chrome, Jura has a classic short refined Welshie head which will get even better as he matures. His elegant neck ties cleanly into a nicely shaped shoulder. His back is short coupled and is part of a attractive topline. You would be hard pressed to find a comparable colt in the UK.
