11-23-2005: We are very proud to welcome our newest addition to Mt. Dragon Welsh, *Holyoake Enchantment. We thrilled to have had the opportunity to purchase such a quality colt from Pauline of the Holyaoke Stud in Wales. Enchantment's sire is an own son of Eyarth Rio and is a superb producing stallion. His foals have done well both in the UK and in the United States. Thank you Pauline for this gorgeous colt. We also send a huge Thank You to our dear friends, Jimi and John of the Brookwater Stud. 2005 marked the second season they have produced a colt for us, doing their usual wonderful job. They mentioned this colt to us and will show him for us in 2006. They own his full sister Holyoake Tanzanite.
11-14-2005: *Cadlan Valley Trysor Aur has attended 3 shows already in the UK this fall, and has taken home a 1st, 2nd and 5th! A HUGE thank you goes out to Cadlan Valley Stud for producing Trysor Aur! Stay tuned for more results coming soon!

11-4-2005: We are very excited to announce that we have purchased the outstanding filly, Mynach Frivolity (Eyarth Beau Geste X Mynach Fleur). Frivolity is a 1/2 sister to our late stallion, *Wedderlie Maradonna. We are very excited about her and look forward to her success in the show ring. |
10-25-2005: Congratulations to Evan's Infinite Sadness and Canter Ridge Ponies on being inspected at the October American Sport Pony Inspection at Devonwood Equestrian Center in Sherwood, OR. They received First Premium. Canter Ridge welsh and Sport Ponies' Web site 10-23-2005: We were thilled with the new from the Morton Welsh farm in Canada. The lovely imported stallin Stockham Commander M was Site Reserve Champion at the aWP inspection, with an impressive score of 8.1. This makes him one of the rare First Premium Premier Stallions. Commander is the sire of our lovely stallion *Morton's Celebrity and his full sister *Morton's Camilia, also owned by Mt. Dragon. Commander also had the highest free jumping score - 8.5. |

9-2-2005: International Champion Evans Providence of the Night does it again!! He stole the show at the Northwest Welsh Classic by winning Supreme (under the USA judge) and Res. Supreme Champion (under the UK judge), Grand Champion Sport Pony, Ridden Pony class under the UK judge, Julie Evans of Haighmore Stud, Green Pony English Pleasure class and goes on to win the English Pleasure Adult Championship, beating out the nations best!! He also showed in the English Show Hack class and came out with a second, going against seasoned ponies and cobs. This was Providence's second show under saddle. Congratulations to WishBroke Welsh, Inc. on taking International Champion Evans Providence of the Night to a repeated title of Supreme Res. Champion at the 2005 Western Nationals! He won this title last year also! Providence also made his debut under saddle, placing 3rd and 5th in classes of 14. |

8-4-05: Congratulations to Evans Maximus (*Hilin Trysor X *Llanarth Queen of Spain) on his win at the USEF/USDF Dressage Sport Horse Breeding in the 2004 Colts/Geldings Class at the Sport Horse Tournier July 30, 2005! We believe this is the first Evans Pony to win at a Dressage Sport Horse Breeding show! We are expecting a full sibling to Maximus in 2006! This foal can be reserved. |

6-7-05: Mt Dragon is pleased to announce that the lovely *Clogian Fair Trail will be our first mare bred to Evans Providence Of The Night. Trail is an extremely well bred imported mare who has produced lovely foals for us in the past. We are already excited about this 2006 foal. |

Evans Providence Of The Night continued his winning ways at the 2005 AWE Spring Fling where he was named Grand Champion Section B. We look forward to watching this ever move lovely young stallion as the season progresses. |

4-18-05 - Mt Dragon is so pleased to announce the birth of *Friars Sooty's first foal; a lovely chestnut filly foal out of Evans Ariondohf, owned by Suzanne Bryson of Stone Country Farm. She is a wonderful example of the true Welsh Mountain Pony, beautiful classic head with big eyes, great width between the eyes and tiny ears. Her bone and substance is incredible. We also received the news that Marsha Hemler of Stonecroft farm has a black filly by Sootie and out of Evans Scandalous. Congratulations Marsha. We look forward to photos!!

4-17-05 - Our dear friends, Jimi and John of the Brookwater Stud took *Brohuelog Aramis to his first ever outing this Sunday, April 17. The show was the Northern All Welsh. Aramis was Reserve Champion under a three year old colt owned by Steven Howard. Since Stephen's colt had already medaled two weeks before, Aramis will receive the Welsh Pony and Cob Society Medal!! All our thanks to Jimi and John for showing him for us and for Brohuelog for raising him and allowing us this pleasure. |

4-11-05 - A new Section C Filly has joined our farm! Crestone Marrakesh (*Donys Conflict x Teranfollt Kittyhawk) 2004 Section C Chestnut Filly. This filly has an incredible build with classic C type, movement, bone, excellent pedigree and a wonderful personality. Mature to 13.2. Thank you Crestone Farm! |

3-16-05 - We send Birthday wishes to Maradonna's breeder, Mrs Campbell! She will be turning 90 on April 1st. Mrs. Campbell is also known for her world renowned Angus cattle in addition to their world class Welsh Ponies. Thank you again for letting us purchase such an outstanding pony! 2-6-2005 - Our lovely young stallion *Kenwood's Royal Charter will be traveling to Kobur Welsh Ponies in Alberta Canada, owned by Kathleen Alves. Kathleen has put together a nice group of mares and we look forward to her 2006 foals. Royal Charter with be available to a limited number of outside mares while he is at Kathleen's. Kathleen also plans to bring Royal Charter out at a few Welsh shows before sending him home. Thank you Kathleen. Please contact her for additional information. |
1-15-2005 - We welcome a new boy to our farm! Knight's Royal Olympian has come to Mt. Dragon Welsh! He is a 1/2 brother to our highly successful home bred colt, Evans Providence of the Night, both are sired by the International Supreme and Ridden Champion Land's End Royal Fox. We are very excitied about his future here at Mt. Dragon! Speaking of Providence, we just got in that he was AWE High Point Stallion, all Sections! Another Championship to his credit! 1-1-2005 - HAPPY NEW YEAR! - Our WPCSA awards are in! *Menai Carlo ended up 4th Nationally for Section C stallions and NW REGION CHAMPION SECTION C STALLION. *Wedderlie Maradonna placed 7th Nationally for Section B colts and NW Region 3rd place Section B Colts. Evans Providence of the Night was 4th in the Section B Stallions for the NW Region after only showing at Western Nationals! (Where he went Res. Supreme Champion). We are very pleased with our stud's placings, this is only after one show for Carlo and 2 shows for Maradonna!
